Franchisor suing franchisee for fraud, claims overrings left in the
register amounted to $10,000. Had franchisee sign papers to sell
both stores and pay fees. This is a Dunkin Donuts franchisee.
Papers were signed and waiting to hear on store closings.
Do franchisee’s still have any recourse in this lawsuit.

I sold my InXpress franchise after being conned by this group. Going to door to door selling freight is a very tough job. Many InXpress franchisees are surviving just about the poverty line earning less than $700 a week. I am so glad i am finally out now.

Merrymeeting / Frontier is in violation of a negligent hire & retaining of Edward Ferrie who has been found guilty of Fraud one with selling his franchise twice to two separate people judgements listed against him.Also with and defrauding CNA insurance in which Frontier Adjusters bailed him out of 2 million dollars of insurance fraud. This is a very serious neglegigent hire of Mr. Ferrie resulting in a huge decline of business with many franchisees.
Frontier is in violation of the FLSA Act Federal Labor Standard Act by treating us like employees, forcing us to use their software, giving us times we had to do certain task work, TELLING US WE AS INDEPENDENT INSURANCE ADJUSTERS WE HAD MANDATORY HOURS OF OPERATION ETC. All of this too reflects under Misclarified Employer / Employee Relationship.
Secret implementation of Frontier Adjusters Regional and National Account Program. Forcing us to sign up or get no work at all. This is an example of Tortious Interference with an existing contract. Along with forcing us to use additional programs not necessary.
Frontier has misdirected work from us and given to their favored franchisees.
We found out 6/15/14 that two top executives made slanderous remrks about my wife and I that we were on drugs and met in a rehab.
