BBI’s FRESHBERRY Website Suspended for Non-payment
Beautiful Brands’ Freshberry website apparently suspended for non-payment on one of the busiest frozen yogurt weeks of the year.
It’s the holiday weekend following the Fourth of July.
Temperatures from California to Oklahoma to South Carolina are projected to be in the 90s.
It’s going to be a scorcher…
Great news for Freshberry franchisees who count on weeks like these to make up for the cold winter months, right?
Unfortunately, yogurt-seekers looking to the Freshberry website for hours, specials or directions to their shops are being greeted by this message:
This site has been suspended for non-payment.
If you are the owner of this domain, please contact info@creativestate.com.
Interestingly,Beautiful Brands International’s corporate website, also designed by Tulsa-based Creative State, is still up and running, promoting franchise opportunities with such dubious claims as the existence of six BBI global offices worldwide (“Our franshise [sic] locations span the globe.”) in Tulsa, Sacramento, Toronto, Riyadh, Istanbul, New Delhi.
But the website that supports Freshberry franchisees on one of the hottest weeks of the year is offline for non-payment – despite the fact that Freshberry franchisees pay into an Ad Fund tasked with maintaining an online presence.
Ironically, the “News” page of the Beautiful Brands website still links to BBI CEO David Rutkauskas’ now-defunct Twitter feed and his apology to UnhappyFranchisee.com founder and others.
When David Rutkauskas apologized for his 6-week drunken, rage-fueled online attacks, he promised:
I will now focus my energies on all of the wonderful partners we have, our Brands we own, and all of the fantastic franchisees of our brands around the world.
Perhaps David Rutkauskas should focus a bit of that energy on getting his vendor paid and restoring the Freshberry franchisees’ website ASAP. Just a thought…

And the BBI lack of support continues.
What sort of unbelievable apology will we get now?
Nothing ever changes with this man.
I notice on the BBI website under portfolio it has the franchisee login page to the Camille’s company website listed as a company under it’s umbrella. (My Camille’s)
How can a franchise website be considered a company? Just another example of stretching the truth. Guess that happened under a drunken binge.

You guys act as if you never had nothing turned off! Get a life!
Maria:
I would imagine that the website is the least of Freshberry franchisees’ worries.
It looks like two more stores have closed, leaving only 8 listed on their website.
