DonutNV franchise owners who invested in multiple territories reportedly left the system in late 2023. If that’s true, their exit should’ve been documented in the 2024 DonutNV Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD)… but wasn’t. We add Burt & Elizabeth Nassif and their Mount Holly, NC (Charlotte) franchise (s) to our list of disclosure questions for DonutNV… and state regulators. by Sean Kelly
(UnhappyFranchisee.Com) Our sincere condolences to Burt & Elizabeth Nassif to Mt Holly, NC who, it appears, left their DonutNV investment behind in less than one year.
Burt & Elizabeth Nassif received the usual promotional fanfare at the signing and opening of their multi-territory DonutNV franchise in Charlotte, NC in late 2022.
It’s been reported that Nassif’s left the system in less than a year, selling their trailer to a fellow franchisee in December, 2023.
Yet the Nassif’s departure and possible closure or transfer was not disclosed in the FDD dated April 31, 2024.
We therefore add the Nassif’s to our growing list of disclosure questions and mysteries we hope Alex & Amanda Gingold will explain.

It’s very hard to report accurate and confirmed information when a franchisor
The purpose of the FTC-mandated Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is to provide answers, but I always have more questions when I review the DonutNV FDDs.
When a new DonutNV franchisee signs a franchise agreement, there’s practically a ticker tape parade.
Actually, two ticker tape parades: One when the broker lands their hefty commission and the second when their business becomes operational.
However, trying to learn the outcome of their first year or two in business can be like uncovering state secrets.
We can’t report definitively what happened after the celebrated sale of the NC DonutNV multi-unit territories by Franchise Fastlane.
Prospective DonutNV likely can’t access learn of the experiences or opinions of the Nassifs as, it appears that DonutNV Franchising and their attorneys only positive experiences and messages to be shared.
