We received the following franchise warning about the MATCO TOOLS franchise opportunity. According to commenter “TOMMY CHEUNG” :
“STAY AWAY FROM MATCO TOOLS. THEY WILL SELL YOU A BILL OF GOODS,WHICH IS NO GOOD.
“RUMOR HAS IT ,MATCO MAKES MORE MONEY SIGNING NEW FRANCHISES THAN THEY DO TAKING CARE OF THEIR CURRENT ONES.
“DARYL PRITCHETT AND MIKE RAMEY WORK TOGETHER TO SIGN YOU UP AND THEN KICK YOU TO THE CURB. I AM WORKING ON A LAWSUIT AGAINST MATCO, HOPING TO TURN IT INTO A CLASS ACTION SUIT. YOU MAY CONTACT JERRY MARKS AT MARKS AND KLEIN LAW FIRM AT [redacted], IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.
“I INVESTED ALOT OF MONEY IN MATCO AND AFTER 3.5 YEARS THEY SHUT ME DOWN. WHEN THE ECONOMY SLOWED IN 2008,THEY PUT ME OUT OF BUSINESS.
“I ALSO SPOKE TO A PREVIOUS EXECUTIVE, WHO CALLED ME, AND STATED THATS THE WAY MATCO DOES BUSINESS. STAY AWAY FROM MATCO TOOLS AND RUN LIKE HELL WHEN YOU SEE THEM. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY OR INVEST IN MATCO TOOLS…”
Marks & Klein is a legitimate franchise law firm that often represents franchisees in lawsuits against their franchisors, but we haven’t verified with them whether a lawsuit against Matco Tools is in the works or not.

Listening Skills
While listening is technically part of communication, we believe it deserves its own heading. It’s not enough to simply talk. And talking too soon leads to rash decisions and even regrettable statements.
Being a careful listener is a learned skill. It takes practice. Learning how to stop and gather details from a potential business partner is the right way to determine the most strategic response. Listening can help an entrepreneur effectively deal with employee issues.
A successful entrepreneur will take the time needed to hone this skill to perfection.

Negotiation Finesse
An entrepreneurial small business owner needs to know the art of negotiation in order to make the best decisions and deals that set a business up for success. Negotiation is another learned skill, and it is usually learned at a young age. Remember successfully negotiating with mom and dad if you could stay up just five more minutes? It’s this type of skill that helps a young entrepreneur configure a win-win deal with customers, clients, vendors, suppliers, staff, etc.

Administration Details
How does a business operate? Through the policies and procedures determined by the business owner. However, these operational decisions are also known as administration. The owner gets to choose the hours when the business is open, when employees need to be present and working, how to process sales and sales fulfillment, and how to pay accounts payable invoices when received.
It comes down to a thousand and more little decisions that make the business processes the most efficient and the most profitable. While administration is not inherent, it does take practice and a keen perception to fine-tune, especially in areas where a small business owner is not well practiced, such as accounting, marketing, or even customer service.

Leadership Smarts
Many entrepreneurs have great business ideas, but are deficient in leadership skills. Leadership is a recipe that requires a bit of everything: good communication, listening, presentational, business processing, decision-making, and more. And that is why leadership can be an acquired skill.
Good leadership requires that a business owner be motivational to his or her staff, management, and employees. It requires making sound and good decisions. A good leader will be an example in his or her behavior. It also means forming business strategies and presenting goals to workers. And it requires flexibility, as all good business leaders know that change is the only constant.

Promotional Spirit
An entrepreneur is the biggest cheerleader on the team. Even before the business is off the ground, an entrepreneur must promote his or her experience and expertise, as well as the business concept to potential investors. An entrepreneur will need to promote his or her business to clients, business partner, and other joint venture possibilities as well. And since the entrepreneur has the business vision, it’s up to him or her to make the right decisions on promoting and marketing the product or service to the end customer.

We are all here to give matco hell, destroy their reputation and run them into the ground and to let people know how they treat distributors.
Matco has district and regional managers who lie, mislead and perform deceitful practices , only to pad their pocket.
IT is alleged that matco has cheated American Taxpayers out of money, by misleading TD BANK, according to the lawsuit filed.
WHO WOULD WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY THAT CHEATS AMERICAN TAXPAYERS? IT IS CALLED GREED AND SCREWING EVERY AMERICAN OUT THERE IS WRONG.
WE FORMER DISTRIBUTORS ARE NOT GOING AWAY AND WE WILL NOT SHUT UP.WE WILL BE HEARD LOUD AND CLEAR.
i wasa tech for 30 years and what debbie said was untrue,quote:325 techs that are required to buy tools unquote.no tech must buy tools, never have never will, want to buy yes what world do you live in
Bla, Bla, Bla…Tommy…How about change? No we don’t want to change anything we just want to screw someone….I know I said it before Tommy but when you go, there is a nice warm place for you.
Yeah so today, a customer calls me up, lube tech at a Ford dealer, you know the lube techs that cant afford to buy tools???Only this guy is a 30 a week lube tech, similar to two more in the shop, anyway back to my point.
He goes to a comm. college and buys a MSC4 cart about 8 months ago. Hey I dont blame him or get mad, he gets a great price, and still buys from me, so its ok. Today he calls and says one of the drawers doesnt lock and he doesnt know how to pull the drawer out. So I tell him in the afternoon I will stop buy and take a look at it. Now I know what a lot of people are thinking, are you nuts tell him to call MATCO, thats who he bought it from. So anyway I stop by the shop since I am driving buy, walk up, he shows me which drawer, I pull it out, and there is a piece of paper blocking the locking mechanism. The guy felt bad, I put the drawer back in, locks fine. Two other guys in the shop give him crap, one of the guys comes out and buys a few things, he makes a payment….customer service wins!!!!!complaining and pissing off customers looses!
Tommy MATCO does NOT Cheat american taxpayers. Now I don’t know the facts of the case, neither do you it will come out in court. See just like you bitch at everyone about knowing the facts, YOU DONT either. YOU know ONE side of the story.

Defamation is false and unprivileged spoken words or written publication, which exposes any living person to hatred, contempt, ridicule, or which causes him/her to be shunned or avoided, or which has a tendency to injure him/her in his/her trade or occupation.
For example, if a person or the news media says or writes something about you that is understood to lower your reputation, or that keeps people from associating with you, defamation has occurred. However, if someone says something false about someone who has died, as reprehensible as that may be, in most states it is not considered defamatory. No legal action can be taken on behalf of a dead person. Only a living person can be defamed.

Zigler, Sandler – classic sales training. Why not add “How to Win Friends and Influence People” Throw a few more “How to Sell for Dummies” into the mix.
Get help Matco – get COUNSELING – stop abusing your distributors
If anyone doubts ME – well I have page after page after page of documentation
I took just a ‘SAMPLING’ of quotes from emails and posts I’ve received in the last couple of weeks.
Christopher – You know this sucks because I like mato tools but if they are screwing there people (like Debbie btw who is the best tool person ever) over then I can no longer support them
Charra Agreed Christopher…can’t support a company who doesn’t take care of good people like Debbie
Dan- too bad all they care about is the bottom line …. they should consider that when they become the bottom line and they too will be UNEMPLOYED
John- wow, this lady takes a beating – especially on this site, She might not have done everything right, but who does? but Matco really treated her badly……………..
Phil – Just gotta throw in a comment here regarding Matco- in the 27+ years i have been an automotive tech, i have only wittnessed one Matco dealer who made it to retirement, i have had at least 5 Matco dealers that i can remember, none of which was around for more than a year or two, and for that reason i dont buy much from Matco- i know i wont have a dealer for long. I have known Debbie for around twoyears now and as far as tool dealers go, i would really enjoy doing more buisness with her than i do, she shows up every week ( cant say the same for Snap On) and has always been someone i enjoyed doing buisness with. When she started having issues with Matco, she reached out for help- near as i can tell, she got none. Her DM was supposed to contact all her stops and speak with her customers- can tell you nobody contacted this shop. That doesnt sound to me like a company that wants to help their franchisees…. Damned shame, hate to lose her… Bet we never see another Matco dealer here in rural Colorado either!!!!
George – Debbie Is one of the best Matco sales person I know with a stand up positive attitude
Jim – I have been very happy with my current Matco Tool Distributor, Debbie Solko .
Debbie,
You can laugh at Zig all you want, probably the most successful sales person ever.
I would guess though he would probably frown on talking bad about the company you represent. an example how about this….
Christopher – You know this sucks because I like mato tools but if they are screwing there people (like Debbie btw who is the best tool person ever) over then I can no longer support them
Translation…I no longer buy MATCO Tools. Who is the MATCO dbr in debbies area…Debbie, who is no longer selling tools to Christopher…. Debbie. Who is complaining her customers arent buying tools….Debbie.
i have a question do all you dbrs charge for replacing impact o rings and clips ? seems to me you must be sence you want to get paid for fixing ratchets,
Are E-Mail And On-Line Activities Subject To Laws Relating To Defamation?
Yes, laws relating to defamation are applicable to email and other online activities. For example, if a person commits libel against you through email or other online activities, the publisher, and any republisher, of the offensive statement can be held accountable for damages. This is why it is wise to be careful about anything you write in an email message or online chat room. If the victim is harmed by your action, you can be held liable for his or her losses.
If you think you’ve been defamed by false information passed on by a computer channel, or worry about whether you can make an aggressive advertising claim, it might be worth talking to a qualified lawyer
Not me MATCOMAN, give them away for free. Easy to change, less time than a ratchet repair.
Is calling someone a failure! Defamation of character.?
why would you involve your custumers in your business problems, i would never tell custumers im not making money, not collecting ,not selling, whatever. when i was a tech i would quit buying from them, there not going to be there for me.
What about an advertising AD chocked full of False and misleading Information?
did you make it as a dbr?
listen to what was said,95% then 20 none ,that just means if you start as a fan. you have a better chance to make it in first 7 years.daaaa.
in my area a mac dealer was going around telling his/my custumers.if he did not start selling betterand collectng better he was going to quit on jan 1st. guess what hes gone,to much talking and not working, must have been mac tools fault….

Wonder if replacing LOST customers was addressed in this law suit against SnapOn??

Interesting reading from Business Week
Snap-on
Wives Against Snap-on vs. Snap-on Tools Inc.
In 2005, automotive repair tools franchisor Snap-on was sued by four wives of Snap-on franchisees, who claimed the company falsely advertised income potential and customer bases, and extended precarious lines of credit to franchisees. The wives claimed financial and emotional debilitation to their own lives, and filed the case because of an arbitration provision in their husbands’ contracts that prevented them from suing their own franchisor.
Outcome: The wives won the verdict and opened the door for a California Superior Court ruling that allowed dealers themselves to file a class action against Snap-on. In 2006 they did just that. The franchisor settled their suit for approximately $38 million in damages and attorney’s fees, forgave about $61.6 million in debt, and agreed to change some of its business practices, such as reducing the required investment for initial inventory.
Not a single comment on THIS lawsuit, wonder why?
debbie are you going to answer ther question?
Incredible that one can invest hundreds of thousands of dollars, hours upon hours of time, with a franchise that feels NO NEED to address any of their concerns or answers any of their questions.
Yet individuals on a blog site feel they are entitled to demand and receive answers from a total stranger.
Really? Does anyone really expect I will answer to a total stranger on a blog site? Why on earth would I?
Nobody wants to talk about the Snap On lawsuit?
Nope, the subject will be changed by the next post….
Debbie,
No reason to, its irrelevant to Matco’s practices with franchised distributors. Completely different franchise structure???? Any DM ever said Debbs, we can just roll your current tool bill over to your note, yes you will have to pay interest on it but you will have room on your line of credit to be able to buy tools again.
Completely different…once again talking out your ass.
I still want to hear you support your BS about matco capitalizing on tax credits for hiring Vets….hiring Vets as distributors, as far as I know SnapOn is the only tool company that actually hires distributors???
Ive answered one of yours Deb why dont you answer one of mine, or one of matcomans or Jays or Matco#1’s or 17’s.
You wont, you will just copy and paste another quote and then fab up some feeble attempt to link it to Matco, I mean even Todd A admitted he was wrong by boycotting fluke becaues he thought they were owned by the competition!!!
brandon.steffensmeier told me at matco training junior signed him up
brandon steffensmeier told the whole class his route was so big he had 650 customers
now he wants to stand behind jason/ matco#1 and say he is so great
still have those 650 customers brandon?
Debbie, its funny how if someone says anything about a woman, wether its me or anybody you automatically assume they are talking about you…..hmmm. Paranoid?
When MATCO instituted a freight policy you instantly threatened to sue because YOU felt you were being treated differently than anyone else.
Nothing I said was defimation, all general comments. Tommy on the other hand is border line.
Matcoman I am sure you are successful because your customers are excited to see you, your are the highlight of their day. For others this isn’t the case. I could not imaging going to my customers with issues about any company I was representing.
Why would we discuss a Snap On lawsuit, I dont represent Snap On, Cary doesn’t, Guest, Jay and everyone else including Debbie don’t.
Maybe its because there is no case against MATCO, so if people tie in Snap Ons lawsuit it will confuse people and they will think MATCO did the same thing Snap On did, which is totally innacurate.
Debbie, NO replacing lost customers was not mentioned in Snap On’s lawsuit because it had nothing to do with it, once again you try and distort facts.
Debbie;
MATCO#1 on January 3rd, 2012 6:33 pm
Your a waste guest, waste, waste, waste, you have no value here ——-GUEST, I BELIEVE YOU HAVE A CASE
Guest has no case, no damage, Nobody knows who guest is, I could say anything I wanted about Guest, he/she would have no case, I could slander until the cows come home…no case!
Debbie,

ha, ha, yep just repeating what you have posted on the sight, I didn’t do damage to your business, you did. Besides who is MATCO#1 anyway.
Debbie,
Sorry MATCO#1 – I spoke to chris tonight, he tells me he said what he meant, he meant what he said = NO translation, no hidden meaning…………..
No hidding meaning, I know what he said, he isn’t buying MATCO tools anymore, its a shame, it wont hurt matco, it only hurts YOU!
One thing I find strange. Debbie complains that her route numbers were inflated, that she had to drive across a mountain range to see 3 people. That she has lost so many customers. She is demanding a survey but nobody will do it.
Debbie, not that it really matters, but have you ever counted the potential customers on your route? You keep demanding a re survey, you keep saying you lost customers, but you aren’t saying how many potential customers you now have?
So I guess, you are still above the 325 if you are NOT saying you are below 325.
MATCOMAN makes a valid point, most techs in my area get paid on Friday….why in the world if you are working 4 days a week, would you take pay day off. I can’t think of anyone who says Friday is their worst day on the route.
Matco#1, I have a relevant quote….. phyl collins genesis 1981 abacab ” no reply at all” Debbs that should be your new theme song.
Night Night
Yep good one Cary, Tommys too….ignore, ignore, igore, Tommy Cheung!
A friend told me about this site a few days ago, and very interesting to say the least. Some familar names here and stories. Me, I was a Matco distributor for 3 years starting in 2000, so some of my experience is rather dated, but would like to add a few comments.
I was hell bent on going into business for myself, had a mechanical background – not automotive, but tools are tools. I was not recruited, but found Matco thru opportunity advertisment.
When I looked into the opportunity I had the Franchise Document that listed tons of law suits, I looked thru them, but felt it was just a lot of unhappy souls (mistake number 1) who did not know what they were getting into. I called a number of current and former distributors and asked a lot of questions (but did not listen well to the ones currently in business or the former ones-Mistake 2), in the end put my life savings and retirement into a truck.
Before I signed the papers I asked for history of the prior Matco Distributors in my area, but was told nobod yknew anything about the history -didn’t push hard enough mistake #3.
I was smart enough (or so I thought) to protect myself by demanding that I have a big territory to be able to make it as I was going up against three established competitors, agreed and all was well and fine.
In first 90 days I was doing very well after a shakey start. Then shortly after 90 days on the route I was called and told that the “DM” had “given” me too many shops/head count and they were going to split the route! I was devistated, I had worked hard to achieve this and felt I was being punished as my reward.
Long story short after seeing an attorney who reviewed the contract I had signed, he told me I would have to go along with it, and to work out the best deal I could with Matco, and he would never recommend anyone to sign that contract.
So I continued on with the business for almost three more years after Matco split the route, never again attaining that magical 200 number of paying customers. In the end not feeling that I was going anywhere, and very bitter towards Matco at the time, which I kept to myself-why poision anyone else.
During that time I saw a lot of distributors come and go, of the class I was at in Stow, I think of 14 or so of us only 3 or 4 were still with Matco after a year. In the district I saw guys come and go in the 3 years,
As for the starter inventory, there was some wierd stuff, discontinued and very slow movers. When I closed up still had a lot of the original stuff, over the years have sold it at yard sales, and thrown some of it out. So yes I am firmly convinced that Matco loads up the starter inventory with slow movers and tools that are about to be discontinued.
When I made the decison to get out of it, I was very lucky as there was a guy who wanted to be a tool salesman on my route. I was delighted, figured i would be able to sell some of the tools and maybe some of the other stuff including the truck to him. Not so, Matco discourgaged him from buying anything from me, and told me that my truck was too old for a new distributor to purchase. So basically I liquidated my business and sent what tools I could back at the 15% hit plus frt. All in all when done, we had lost a lot of money on the adventure, but I feel I am far more lucky than most, we had some money in cash, and made the last payment on the tool truck (sold for a big loss) last month!
Didn’t mean for this to be such a long winded comment, just first time in years to think about it all.
A couple of final thoughts.
This is the first place I have seen any figures as to failure rate of Matco Distributors.
The guy who I gave my route to is still in business and I am still buying a few tools from him.
Jason, glad to hear you dad is still doing well and has not disowned you for getting him in to this.
I liked being a tool distributor, just the hours and stress of collecting were not my bag, and if I ever got hit on the head and wanted to do it again, I would only go with the number one in any field, never #2 or 3!
To all the rest of you good luck on your challenges with Matco, don’t get so bitter that it destroys your health.
Matco1, I dont really care what you think. If you could read it says ‘alleged” do you know what that means?
Jason, if you don’t like what I have to say, what are you going to do about it? Nothing as I said before. If you don’t like what you hear, then leave, we are here to rip matco apart and let eveyone know how matco treats people.
Jason, where is your law degree or even an education? As I stated many times before, dumb azz, it is my opinion and I will keep expressing them, whether you like it or not.
I have taken Zig Ziglar seminars, yes he is very good, but that dosen’t change how matco treats distributors, maybe matco employees should have taken this seminar on how to keep distributors, keep sales going and become part of a team.
Where is the other boy out of new mexico, that was a d.m. ? I talked to some of his distributors, who say he was terminated, he didn’t leave on his own.
sitting here, drinking coffee, in my half million dollar house, getting a good laugh out of the defenders, you guys look so stupid on here trying to defend them, they are going to lose in court and we will continue to bash them on here.
Matco#1 Tommy, Matco #1, you guys can guess and assume all you want, I will play along with whatever game you want.
Hal
Great post and advice!
I know you have probably moved on but there are a lot of people that have moved on. My goal here is to EXPOSE and PROMOTE change.
I am not suing Matco for just money. I am suing Matco because:
#1) Their Employee’s lied to me!. Not the ones who answer phones handling my account with Matco, PSA, Customer Service or Training. But to me the most important ones. The District Manager, the Regional Manager and the Vice President.
A) Robert Tolbert- I don’t think Robert Tolbert meant to lie to me! He was supposed to give me 325 customers to call on and he did. He just didn’t give me viable ones. I think this can be attributed to POOR training of DM’s.
B) Anthony Kramer- I don’t think Anthony Kramer wanted me out. Anthony knew what was right when I requested to call on shops on Moberly Lane. He just got the Tim Novak trump card. But he lied to me over it and to my wife in my house. The second lie would be telling me twice in 2009 he would resurvey (at my request) and didn’t. The third lie would be a false survey performed on July 26, 2010. A fourth lie would be three days later when he gave me 405 customers to call on he tried to convince me that I was not doing my job. A fifth lie would be telling me in November 2010 that I had cured, to forget the letter existed and he would warn me if there was a problem in the future.
C) Tim Novak- Biggest lie! Customer Support! He gave me NONE! He used a GREY contract and false business practices to strip my customers away from me using Mapquest, Google Map and MDBS. He told me I had done wrong to call on my shops that my DM approved. He gave shops to a DIstributor when that Distributor already had more customers than I did (Tim forced me to give them to him) and was not even doing business on that street overlapping THREE Distributors which Matco falsely advertises they don’t do. He spearheaded my Separation Letter knowing that I had MULTIPLE requests for a resurvey due to low head count. Tim said it best when he gave me my termination CALL on February 11, 2011 “I don’t care what you do YOU WON’T BE DOING IT FOR MATCO.” This was repeated by him three different times during the conversation. Tim had acheived his GOAL! He successfully terminated a Distributor by using Corporate bullying tactics. NOT by a FRANCHISEE failing his FRANCHISOR.
Ernie Lauber and Mike Swanson- Customer Support! NONE!!! I drove 14 hours to try and amicably dispute my termination letter. I told them of all the above happenings only to have them throw in my face a Document that would strip me of my rights to sue and put a gag in my mouth. Not to mention I had already tried to contact Ernie and discuss what I had told them twice before. When I received the Separation Letter which he did tell me then to talk to Tim but would not address any of my ISSUES. Then when I received the false survey he didn’t return a call addressing ISSUES. Mysteriously 3 days after that survey I get 405 customers. I was told by and given by Ernie his proof that made me a Failure. 26 days of missed work from 10/10 to 1/11 which is another lie and false information.
I can’t wait to go to court and PROVE what I KNOW to be the truth. I don’t think anyone can dispute the accurate and detailed information I have posted.
The OBC just gets on here and call you names!
They try just like Tom Gilmore does in the video above to promote and sell the Matco Franchise as an Opportunity to succeed!
In reality they are lying to you! Matco, in reality, is an OPPORTUNITY to fail. Lies, Deceit and Fraud are their bed partners.
Hal I am on facebook in Arkansas and would like to talk to you. I am the guy on a base in red/white in uniform. Contact me and I will give you my phone number.

My MATCO distributor will not honor the warranty on the tools. I have used MATCO since 1993.
The reason I was given was that there is an old balnce from another distributor that I never dealt with. I had been using MATCO for 3+ years from this route, all of a sudden it is magically there. I called the corporate office and said if they could produce anything that showed I had done business with this distributor and owed him, I would pay. 90 days go by and not a word till I request warranty work, then I am notified that none of my MATCO tools ($10,000+) will be warranted due to the balance that was never able to be validated.
This is nothing more than a shake down scam by the district manager and his buddy.
Never due business with Rick or his cronies!!!!!
POST A COMPLAINT ON RIP-OFF REPORT.COM, ANOTHER PISSED OFF CUSTOMER I FOUND ON RIP-OFF REPORT.COM.
Hal wrote “I was a Matco distributor for 3 years…”
“… shortly after 90 days on the route I was called and told that the “DM” had “given” me too many shops/head count and they were going to split the route! I was devistated” (sound familiar?)
They cut Hal’s route and forced a success into a failure in 3 years. (sound familiar?)
Then Matco killed his attempt to sell his business then resold it themselves (sound familiar?)
MATCO#0’s reaction? Silence (even though he knew him).
MATCO#0 will just snipe at Tommy and pretend he wasn’t just confronted by more blatant proof of this same scam being run.
It’s also blatantly obvious that MATCO#1 & the Old Boy’s Club know exactly what’s going on and simply don’t care about those being forced into failure. How could they not.
MATCO#1, instead of playing games, why not respond to Hal’s statement:
“… of the class I was at in Stow, I think of 14 or so of us only 3 or 4 were still with Matco after a year.”
A distributor’s entire value to Matco is based solely on purchase average that is at 80% of the National average.
An ‘average’ – meaning some are at the top and some are at the bottom.
Obviously – some are succeeding – and some are succeeding quite well,
I’m guessing they are in the Top 10%
I’m guessing they sing that song loud and proud – as well they should! They are in the TOP 10%
So, if they are in the Top 10% – where are all the other distributors?
Well, if they are not purchasing 80% of the National Purchase AVERAGE – they are gone……
If the TOP 10% is kicking ass and selling big – DOESN’T THAT INHERENTLY SKEW THE NPA?
of course it does
The Top 10% deserve accolades and praise –
They do NOT have the right to chastise or ridicule the remaining 90%.
The National Purchase Average is an unfair valuation. The economic conditions in various parts of the county are different!
The median household income in the United States is $46,326
TOTAL HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES (taken directly from Matco Budget worksheet)

THE MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME IS $46,326

FEDERAL WITHHOLDING 342
SOCIAL SECURITY 237
MEDICARE 55
NET PAY $3215
$3215 NET PAY MINUS HOUSEHOLD EXPENSES -$3940
= A NET DEFICIT OF $725!!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE AVERAGE AMERICAN HOUSEHOLD IS
RUNNING A $725 DEFICIT EVERY MONTH!
Of course the Top 10% Successful Matco distributors would say those Americans are FAILING……………………
YET MATCO IS TO HAVE US ALL BELIEVE – THE ECONOMY IS NOT AN ISSUE
MATCO WOULD LIKE US TO BELIEVE EVERY MECHANIC HAS $25, $50, OR EVEN $100 A WEEK TO SPEND ON TOOLS!!!!
**The AVERAGE American is NOT EVEN MAKING ENOUGH TO COVER HIS HOUSEHOLD BILLS, yet, Matco tells us he does have money for tools***
AND before you start attacking and telling me – most have 2 incomes, this survey was done based on HOUSEHOLD INCOME, based on a Married couple with one child..
Only 17.8% of all U.S. Households make more than $118,200 a year.
Only 2.67% make more than $200,000.
The fact that only 34% make more than $65,000 is astounding given how expensive other cost of living items have gotten over the past decade.
That is why the middle class is feeling squeezed from all different sides.
Hey guest, you may want to read Hals post again, he never said he failed!
Hal says the guy that replaced him has been in business since 2002 and he buys tools from him. He also goes on to say that he would only come back to selling tools for the #1 company….whose that, WE ALL KNOW….it’s Matco,
Guest sorry Thursday is a smokin day for me don’t have time to respond to you.
Yep, most of my customers can’t afford to spend $350 all at once for a tool. BUT they can afford 35 or 40 a week, thats why they buy from tool trucks.
