Free Speech is under attack in the franchise industry… and across the nation.
Predatory franchise sellers feed on the trust and inexperience of individuals and families seeking the American Dream of business ownership through franchising.
They specifically target active service members, Veterans & military families.
Many of their victims are left broke and broken, crushed by debt, having lost their retirement savings, their credit scores, their military clearance, their homes, their marriages and/or their mental health.
For many, the only positive thing they’ve gained from their devastating experience is the ability to share what they’ve learned, to warn others and to know their hardships kept others from suffering the same devastation.
When UnhappyFranchisee.Com was launched in 2006, there were half a dozen sites where franchise owners could safely and anonymously share warnings with prospective franchisees.

We’re under attack by commission-based brokers, deceptive franchise sellers and unscrupulous attorneys who seek to remove the last line of protection. (See the home page for details)
They are using the money gained from failed and failing franchisees to launch baseless lawsuits intended to drain our scant resources.
Don’t let them shut down the last consumer watchdog willing to stand up to the bullies & share their Franchise Truth.
Let’s not let the bullies win. Not this time.
