The Perfect Franchise Consultant Brandon Siegfried is a “Cereal Entrepreneur” who Promoted Anchored Tiny Homes
The Perfect Franchise Consultant Brandon Siegfried continues to promote long-debunked statistics regarding franchise success rates. The 85% success rate, he claims is due to the fact that franchises are tested and proven. However, Brandon Siegfried, like his fellow The Perfect Franchise consultants Patrick Elsner and Brendan Wilson, appear to have received hefty commissions referring “clients” to unproven, untested franchise companies that turned out to have 100% failure rates. by Sean Kelly

The Perfect Franchise website includes glowing background information of Senior Franchise Consultant Brandon Wilson:
The Perfect Franchise proudly promotes Brandon Siegfried as one of its experienced franchise consultants (commissioned franchise brokers).
According to The Perfect Franchise website page About Brandon Siegfried:
Having exited the corporate world decades ago, Brandon became a cereal entrepreneur [sic].
Now his passion is focused on helping his clients find the perfect business / franchise to make a transformative investment and build a legacy.
“Cereal Entrepreneur” Brandon Siegfried Claims “Franchises Have an 85% Success Rate”
The Perfect Franchise claims Brandon Siegfried’s 25 years in franchising has made him a “top-tier coach/recruiter in the franchise consulting space.”
One year ago, Brandon cited a long-debunked claim that a study indicated that franchises have an 85% success rate vs. the significantly lower success rate of independent start-ups.
This claim was so thoroughly debunked that the IFA issued a warning to stop using it nearly 20 years ago.
Brandon not only published the false claim, he posted a link to a video in which our favorite huckster Dr. John Hayes and Neighborly Brands also resurrect the ancient lie.
Brandon Siegfried Proudly Promotes his Placement with a 100% Failure Rate Franchise: Anchored Tiny Homes
9 months ago, Brandon Siegfried proudly posted that he had helped guide a family to buy into Anchored Tiny Homes.
The franchisees were so sold they even gave Brandon Siegfried a glowing testimonial.
All of these postings were still up and active at the time this post was published.
Last September, Anchored Tiny Homes abruptly closed its Fair Oaks, California, abandoning its franchisees.
The two founders, brothers Colton and Austin Paulhus, filed bankruptcy petitions leaving millions owed to franchisees, contractors, creditors and those who had put money down on homes.
Third The Perfect Franchise Consultant Who Recommended Doomed Franchise Start-Ups
Anchored Tiny Homes had partnered with Franchise Sales Organization (FSO) Franchise FastLane, an outsourced franchise sale service.
FSOs offer lucrative referral fees of $30,000 – $55,000 and up to the growing numbers of franchise brokers, like Brandon Siegfried and the others at The Perfect Franchise.
The brokers claim to be free franchise consultants to would-be franchise buyers, who they refer to as their “clients.”
However, many of the “consultants” do little to no due diligence and only recommend franchises with whom they have commission arrangements.
Two other The Perfect Franchise consultants were involved in a similar franchise debacle, which you can read about here:
The Perfect Franchise Partner Patrick Elsner Was Sued for Racketeering, Fraud
The Perfect Franchise Consultant Brandon Wilson Was Sued for Racketeering, Fraud
The Perfect Franchise Partner Patrick Elsner was successfully sued for his role as a franchise “broker” who referred franchise owners to FSOs selling Anodyne Pain & Wellness franchises.
The Perfect Franchise Consultant Brandon Wilson was also successfully sued, in part, for being misleading about his true role in the sales process. His bio on The Perfect Franchise touts his involvement with FranDevCo, the FSO involved with promoting Anodyne Pain & Wellness before, like Anchored Tiny Homes, it collapsed and left franchisees high and dry.
