I am hopeful Congressional candidate Keith Gross will consider becoming the leading voice in the burgeoning Un-Gag America’s Veterans! initiative. He is an Army National Guard Veteran campaigning in one of the most pro-Veteran areas of the country: The Florida panhandle. He is a franchise attorney whose law firm (and whose husband’s franchise development firm, Franchise Altitude) represents a controversial Florida-based franchise seller known for gagging Veterans. Keith Gross is in a position to solidify support among his co-candidates… and whichever one wins can bring this initiative to Washington! by Sean Kelly, founder, Truth for Veterans, Truth for All Initiative
(UnhappyFranchisee.Com) Congressional candidate Keith Gross told Florida Politics that he does not represent DonutNV Franchising, Inc., is “not involved in any of these brands or the described legal matters,” and continues to be “a steadfast voice in favor of helping my fellow veterans.”
This is excellent news!
This should leave candidate Keith Gross free of conflicts-of-interest that might keep him from championing the Un-Gag America’s Veterans! Initiative. We are hoping to create a grassroots movement that can start with un-gagging American Veterans and then lead the way to un-gagging all Americans.
Here are the questions I’m sending to Keith Gross in hopes that he’ll either embrace the Un-Gagging of America’s Veterans Initiative or explain why he does not (which he has every right to do).
Questions Regarding Gagging Veterans & Limiting Information Available to Them by Franchise Sellers
Our Position:
The Federal Trade Commission states that speaking to current & former franchisees is an essential part of a prospective franchisees’ due diligence. Much of the FTC Franchise Rule is intended to facilitate communication between prospective, current and recent franchisees, and provide them with critical information to make an informed decision. The use of private mediation, arbitration, NDAs, confidentiality and non-disparagement clauses are being used to undo consumer protections and information sharing intended by the FTC Franchise Rule.
We look forward to hearing from Congressional Candidate and Veteran Keith Gross and, hopefully, adding him as an advocate for Un-Gagging America’s Veterans!
