Homefront Brands CFO Michael Joseph Dudan, brother of CEO Jeff Dudan, is reportedly facing charges for Felony Hit & Run with Injuries. There appears to have been no formal announcement from Homefront Brands as to Mr. Dudan’s status with the company; However, prominent senior executive Mike Dudan has been removed from the multi-concept franchisor’s web page. by Sean Kelly, Founder, Truth for Veterans, Truth for All.
Homefront Brands (HFB) is the Huntersville, North Carolina-based franchisor of AdvantaClean, The Designery, Roof Scientist, Temporary Wall Systems, Top Rail Fence, and Window Hero.
HFB franchise opportunities are aggressively marketed by such broker organizations as International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG), Franchise Sidekick and others.
Last December, a guest post stated that a lack of transparency from leadership and management, marked by evasive and/or contradictory responses to difficult questions, was creating a “broader sense of mistrust.”
HomeFront Brands Faces Mounting Franchisee Turmoil [GUEST POST]
On March 8, 2026 an arrest warrant for Felony Hit and Run with Injuries was issued for Michael Joseph Dudan, CFO of Homefront Brands.
According to the warrant issued by the Raleigh, North Carolina Police Department:
On or about the date of offense shown and in the county named above the defendant unlawfully, willfully, and feloniously did fail to immediately stop the vehicle the defendant was driving at the scene of a crash in which the defendant was involved.
This crash occurred 2101 LAKE WHEELER RD and resulted in injury to CHRISTOPHER MURPHY
The defendant knew and reasonably should have known that the vehicle which the defendant was operating was involved in the crash and that the crash had resulted in injury to CHRISTOPHER MURPHY.

The warrant was served and Mike Dudan was taken into custody, one day after the crash.
He waived the court-appointed attorney and was released on $1000 bail.
Information regarding Mike Dudan’s arrest and criminal case documents are public records, posted by the Wake County, NC Court.
Evidently, some law enforcement agencies post mugshots on their Facebook (or other) pages and then remove them once the defendants are released on bail.
Information and booking photos (mugshots) are captured and displayed by BustedNewspaper.Com.
Details of Mike Dudan’s arrest and his booking photo can be easily found via Google search.
Homefront Brands brands evidently responded by quietly erasing their prominent CFO from their website.
We’ve been told that no announcement or explanation has been shared with HomeFront franchisees.
The former CFO of the Carolina Panthers, Mike Dudan is a prominent figure in franchising, having partnered with his brother, Jeff Dudan, as RockBox Fitness franchisees and through his significant involvement with HomeFront Brands.
Mike Dudan’s photograph and background was featured prominently on the multi-brand franchisor’s website’s “Leadership” page, reading:
Mike Dudan
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Dudan has nearly 30 years of experience in various finance and accounting roles. After spending his first eight years in public accounting with both Arthur Andersen and Deloitte, he was hired by one of his clients, the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. Mike has served as Chief Financial Officer and was a leader in the Panther’s franchise sale valued at over $2.2 billion in 2019, which marked the largest sports franchise transaction to date.
In addition to maintaining the finances of the HomeFront Brands portfolio, Mike actively monitors unit level economics, providing analysis and benchmarking to drive bottom line results for franchisees. Mike is a Summa Cum Lauda graduate of the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University.
Archived screenshots from the Wayback Machine (Archive.Org) show that Mike Dudan may have been removed from the HomeFront Brands website, likely days after the crash.
By March 16, 2026, Josh Krisher’s bio had been published in his place, though it’s not clear if a photo had been available.
Mike Dudan’s profile on LinkedIn states that he’s been HomeFront Brands CFO from January, 2022 to present (4 years, 8 months).
Joshua Krisher’s LinkedIn profile states that he’s been Chief Financial Officer of HomeFront Brands from October, 2025 to present.
March 7, 2026, the day of the crash, would have been a Saturday.
2101 Lake Wheeler Rd, Raleigh, North Carolina appears to be a dangerous intersection, a location with many accidents (It’s a Marathon Gas Station with a “Grocery Boy Jr.” convenience store).
Few other details have been provided as of this date as to the time, conditions and circumstances of the crash.
We hope Christopher Murphy is recovering or has recovered from the crash.
We invite HomeFront Brands, CEO Jeff Dudan and CFO Mike Dudan to provide statements about these unfortunate circumstances, and candidly answer questions for all stakeholders and parties involved in the Homefront Brands.
We’ll responsibly share the information they – and others – provide.
We just read on the Pacer database that The Designery franchisees in Edgewood, Kentucky, Joel & Amy Senger, Proverbs 163 Ventures, Inc. declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy May 2, 2026 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
It’s no easy task to rebuild at what you thought would be retirement age, but Joel and Amy’s faith will, no doubt, give them the needed strength.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Joel & Amy.
