Fair Franchising Advocates, hear this!
According to the Coalition of Franchisee Associations, the proposed New Hampshire fair franchising legislation will receive a hearing before the House Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee next Tuesday, February 4th at 10:15 a.m.
The Small Business Investment Protection Act (HB 1215) was introduced late last year by Representative Patrick Abrami and will be receive significant opposition from organizations including the International Franchise Association.
Many believe that, of all fair franchising bills introduced this year, this bill has the strongest chance of passage. It includes language on the rights of association, renewal, transfer and termination.
To help advance this important piece of legislation,
(1) Please forward this message onto New Hampshire franchisees
(2) Ask that they attend the hearing on Tuesday.
(3) Ask your franchisees with businesses in New Hampshire to Click here or go to http://cfavotes.channeldemocracy.com/connect/write?alert=1158 to write a letter in support of the bill.
